The Golden Pizza Saga
Making wacky movies has become one of our favorite ways to enjoy our family travel adventures and to capture some visuals of the beautiful places we’ve been! Our kids are so creative and fun and they’re almost always down to ham it up on camera...the end product definitely makes it worth the stress of keeping these 7 big personalities on the same page while attempting to capture a good take amidst what are typically bustling tourist sites.
Spring break of 2018 we spent 12 days running all over Italy - Rome, Tuscany, Venice, The Lake District, and Milan. It was nothing short of spectacular. Restorative and exhausting, educational, entertaining, enlightening, and certainly enriching. And yeah, we argued a lot, missed a few highway exits, got hangry, got bored in giant museums, got tired of walking, hiked until we were starving, peed in the woods, peed in the street, got rained on, got fussed at for climbing on ancient ruins (I told em not to!), ate a ton of sandwiches, argued some more, missed several buses, ate bad tourist trap food, and stood in lots of lines. It was AWESOME!
And In all our spare time, we managed to produce this hilarious new family flick. An action adventure caper starring 7yo Leif Burton as the young hero who sets out to find the gangsters who stole Golden Pizza - a delicious and ancient Italian relic!
We hope you enjoy this 3 part mini series, plus the gag real. We thinks it’s a great way to show off some of the beautiful sites to see in Italy and these goofball kids that we love so much!
