Y'all. Last night @glenhansard said "I'd like to sing this song for Jack & Maja Burton". During his encore! Intimately unplugged and standing at the edge of the stage! ...afterward we got to chat a bit and I have never had such a hard time keeping my cool!...total stammering #fanboy #footinmouth embarrassingness! Sorry Glen! Still, it was AWESOME! He is truly an incredible creator, artist and person. We have been fans of his amazing voice, writing, and performing since we first saw him with #theframes at #aclfest several years ago. But perhaps what's even greater to witness is his generosity of spirit, kindness toward his follow man, and desire to lift people up rather than stand above them - not only during the concert, but also in his interactions with crew, venue staff, and the fine folks attending his shows! Such a pleasure to meet someone who fully engages in every moment, both on and of the stage!
